Army of the Dead was directed by Snyder and written by Zack Snyder, Shay Hatten and Joby Harold. The film marks a return to horror for Snyder after he remade George A’s zombie film. Romero, Dawn of the Dead. While remakes of classic horror films rarely make a good impression, Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead is one of the best zombie films of the last few decades. ACCEPTED : A new army of statues of the dead prepares Dave Bautista for a zombie heist.

Army of the Dead Stars is an ensemble consisting of Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine’s House of Children), Ana de la Reguera (Eastbound and Down), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), Huma Qureshi (Leila), Garrett Dillahunt (Raising Hope), Raul Castillo (The View), Omari Hardwick (Power), Hiroyuki Sanada (King Lear), Matthias Schweighofer (Resistance) and Tig Notaro (Music). Actor Chris D’Elia was in the cast before controversies led to his dismissal.

In Army of the Dead, a group of mercenaries plan a heist on a Las Vegas casino in the middle of a zombie epidemic. For Bautista, it was the inclusion of theft that drew him into the story, as it is the element that sets the film apart from other zombie films. Though he’s apparently been trying to get a walk-on role in The Walking Dead for years, Bautista says he knew he’d found another way to get involved in zombie horror when he saw the script for Army of the Dead.

It had to be something special in a zombie movie for me to sign, Bautista recently told Empire. What sets us apart is the stealing. But there are many different layers to this film.

So far, we’ve only seen the shortest clips of Army of the Dead in a Netflix video promoting all of this year’s major releases. Several photos were also taken in secret, showing many of the characters and the vault they will explore in the film. Bautista, in particular, seems ready to take on a whole horde of undead. He seemed like the perfect choice to lead the film’s mercenary crew through a polluted Las Vegas.

The Army of the Dead will be liberated on the 21st. May 2021 streaming on Netflix. In the meantime, you can watch the first video teaser, which will air on Thursday the 25th. February, appears. We got this message from Zack Snyder on Twitter.
