What is the PCS exam?

Selection criteria for PCStest
Participants must meet the minimum requirements for participation in this exam. However, the qualification criteria for some positions may vary. The following information will help you choose the right job for your background.
- For DIET (Senior Lecturer) – To be eligible for the post of Senior Lecturer, candidates must have completed a postgraduate degree and completed the B.Ed programme with good marks.
- For the position of County Probation Specialist – Candidates must have a degree in psychology, degree in sociology from a social work department of a recognized university.
- For the position of District Officer – A university degree is accepted for the position of District Officer.
- For the post of Deputy Forestry Officer or Forest Protection Officer – students with degrees in Mathematics, Chemistry, Geology, Forestry, Zoology, Agriculture, Statistics, Physics.
- For the post of deputy public prosecutor and assistant public prosecutor, a law degree.
- For the Deputy Commissioner for Employment – Diploma in Humanities including Economics/Sociology/Law.
- Responsible for Occupational Health and Safety – Completed courses in sociology, human resources, occupational health and safety, retail management, social work and business administration.
- Statistical Assistant – University degree in mathematics/agriculture, statistics and mathematics.
- District Adult Education Officer – business degree.
- Appointing Officer – Post graduate degree in chemistry, Bachelor of Technology, biotechnology, petroleum technology, dairy technology, biochemistry.
- Assistant Controller for Legal Measures – a qualified physicist with knowledge of mechanical engineering.
- Child development project manager – Bachelor’s degree in home economics, social sciences, social work and sociology.
In general, a bachelor’s degree is required to take the PCS exam.
PCS test Age-related criteria
The age requirements for the PCS (Upper Subordinate Services / Unified State) exam are listed below.
- The minimum age for participation in the PCS exam is 21 years.
- The maximum age for participation in the PCS exam is 40 years.
In the PCS test, exemptions are granted for different categories. The age limits for leave are as follows:
- Occupancy plan – age limit of 5 years for flexibility
- Registered strains – relaxation of the age limit of 5 years
- The other delayed class is the 5 year age limit of the relaxation
- Experienced UP player of graded games – relaxation of age limit of 5 years.
- Officials of Uttar Pradesh – age waiver of 5 years.
- Disabled persons with physical limitations – age limit of 15 years for assistance
- Group B posts for SSC/EES/OOPD staff with 5 years experience – Age limit for flexibility.
Message: To qualify for age reduction or reservation quotas, applicants must:
- Have a permanent residence in Uttar Pradesh
- Possess a casting certificate or category certificate from a recognized organization.
- In this case, a male candidate who marries two different women at the same time cannot participate in this examination.
- In this case, a candidate who marries a man who already has a wife is not eligible to take this exam.
- In this case, a candidate who is pregnant (more than 12 weeks) is temporarily considered ineligible.
- People who qualify for more than one age discount and one reservation will receive a discount.
Physical standards Candidates who have passed the introductory and basic examinations must pass a physical aptitude test for certain positions. After the interview, the candidates are subjected to a medical test. These physical standards may be different for each job. Students are advised to exercise and pay particular attention to regular medical checkups. He or she must be in good mental and physical health.
PCSExamination schedule and syllabus
The PCS program is very similar to the IPS testing program. Like the IAS audit, it is divided into three phases.

Preparatory phase The preparatory phase consists of two objective activities, namely: General Studies I, General Studies II, or CSAT. Form of revision :
