ABC’s American Idol introduced viewers to a number of new contestants during the casting process and Hollywood Week. Fans are now speculating that one of the favorites may have dropped out of the race.
Judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan felt that TikTok star Benson Boone could go far in the competition.
Boone did not appear on the show at all during the Hollywood Week portion of the competition. According to spoilers, Boone was initially in the lead, but fans are now speculating that he has left the show. Boone has not issued a statement, and ABC has not yet commented on the situation.

According to Meaww, Boone has received an offer to work with Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons. The website reports that Boone left the event and was later replaced by another participant.
The 18-year-old singer-songwriter had millions of followers on TikTok before he appeared on the show, and he posted a lot of content on his social media accounts.
The Idol Pad spoiler account tweeted that Boone has been eliminated from the competition and replaced by Anilee List.
Boone is a popular TikToker with over 1 million subscribers and 42.6 million likes on his videos. But he told Como News he doesn’t think he’s known as TicToc.
I would say that’s a lot of followers, but I only started posting ten months ago, and my first video got 400,000 views, which shocked me – I had never had that much attention before, he told the news channel. And so I posted another video and it has 1.3 million views.

In one TikTok video, Boone sits next to Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds; in another, the singer sits next to Reynolds, who sits at the piano.
Boone said the two are working on something really big, and he can’t wait to share it with you.
For fans, this is a logical change, as Boone didn’t always seem to dream of being on American Idol like some of the other contestants.
Boone played the piano during his audition and American Idol judge Katy Perry told him she thought he could win the whole show if he wanted to.
The young singer explained to the judges that he had only been performing for a little over a year, when his friends told him they wanted to start a band and hire him as a singer.
American Idol wasn’t always his dream, but he told Komo News that he was most looking forward to meeting Katy Perry.

Boone may not have always loved American Idol, but he was happy to be there. However, he had to go through two rounds of production audits before he could hear the jury.
