Marvel’s Moon Knight Disney+ Series Has Found Its Director

The Lunar Knight is on his way to Disney+. Marvel Studio and Disney have appointed a director for the upcoming series in Mohamed Diabe. This will probably be the noisiest devil concert so far. Diab is an Egyptian filmmaker who is reluctant to accept that this character in the pages of Marvel comics is largely rooted in Egyptian culture.

According to numerous reports, Mohamed Diab was involved in the leadership of the Knight of the Moon. At the moment we don’t know if he will direct every episode, as Deborah Chau does with the Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+, or if he will film several episodes with other filmmakers who have joined him to finish them. This is how Mrs. Marvel, who also meets behind the scenes, brought the directors’ stables together for life, including the Bad Boys duo Bilal Fallah and Adil Alarbi. Previously, Diab led the Clash of 678 and 2016 and Amyra, which is now in post-production. The news came just days after it became known that Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: Skywalker Rise, Ex Machina) had claimed the lead role.

POWERFUL: Oscar Isaac – Knight of the Magic Moon in the new Disney+ series?

The figure of the Knight of the Moon was made by Doug Munch and Don Perlin. He first appeared in 1975, at night, on the pages of De Weerwolf. Mark Spector is the man behind the mask. Over the years, the character has made comparisons with Batman, with some significant differences. Spector’s a mercenary. During the mission to Egypt everything went wrong and Spector almost died. He is raised by Honshu, the Egyptian god of the moon, who gives him the power of the moon. It gives him a moon-fed superpower. But Spector also suffers from an identity disorder and has many alter egos, calling his mental health into question. This makes his past valid as a suspect, giving the character a unique dimension.

Jeremy Slater (Umbrella Academy) is the director of the show and is responsible for the stage space. At the moment there is no indication when production can start, although Hollywood still has serious problems when it comes to filming live or on television. It seems that Mrs. Marvel and She-Hulk are also approaching each other soon after they were announced at the D23 show in Disney last year with the Knight of the Moon. Other upcoming Marvel shows, making their Disney+ debut, such as Le Faucon and Le Soldat d’hiver, are much closer, and filming is almost complete. WandaVision is in the can and will premiere in December, Loki is making a film. Hawkeye’s on deck too.

Unlike other Marvel Television episodes such as Sorvigolov, The Fugitives or The Cape and Dagger, these new live shows will be closely linked to MCU’s films. Even the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents usually felt like they were in their own corner of the universe. We will certainly keep you informed as soon as we have more information about the project. This message comes to us about the deadline.
