USC scores two touchdowns in final three minutes to beat Arizona State

Drake London scored a 21-yard touchdown from 1:20 at the end of the game, while the 20th was the best time of the game. RSC defeated Arizona in the Pac-12 season opener on Saturday 28:27, which was done with a long delay.

Bru McCoy caught a 26-yard deflected touchdown 2-52 on the Trojans (1-0) and then made up for the next inside shot. Kedon Slovis crossed central London in fourth and ninth gear, and the two-sport athlete won a double gear to get him out of the electricity bill.

The OSCE defense then prevented Arizona (0-1) from dropping 50 seconds back into midfield to spare coach Clay Helton, who is still in trouble, for the team’s brilliant comeback.

It reminds you of 2020, doesn’t it? Helton said. A year of adversity and looking for ways to overcome difficult situations. I’m proud of our soccer team. We did it.

For their meeting, the Trojans played a game that started at 9 am. USC accepted the earliest launch in at least 70 years for national viewers, but it seemed another disgrace for Helton and his Trojans before it suddenly became an exciting triumph.

USC scored 556 yards on offense and had a 164-yard lead over the Sun Devils, but the Trojans were almost done with four flip-flops and three back during the crashes.

A year ago we may not have won this game, but a year more, a year more experience – I didn’t see any panic, Helton said. I saw the balance, and the kids were just talking: Okay, let’s go to the next chance, let’s go to the next chance, and let’s do some good work on the home front.

The Slovenes made 381 yards for the OSC, while Stephen Carr and Marquesa Steppe scored in the first half. London also caught eight passes for 125 yards, as well as his winning TD catch.

This was a song we played the whole time, the Slovenes said. There were three steps and one ball, and Drake did the rest for me.

Arizona newcomer DeaMonte Trayanum scored 84 yards and two touchdowns, while Rashad White scored a 55-yard touchdown in an equally solid start for the Sun Devils, who were painfully close to an impressive win for coach Herman Edwards and new offensive coordinator Zack Hill.

What I’ve learned about football in college is that they can score a goal at any time, Edwards said. We had a chance to get off the field a couple of times in defense, but we didn’t. We gave them life in resentment, and they could play plays. I think we’re just gonna grow up, put it all behind us and get ready for next week’s game.

Jayden Daniels made 134 yards and ran another 111, but the Sun Devils’ star quarterback missed four in a row to complete his last move.

Arizona’s new co-defensive coordinator, Marvin Lewis, was also about to make a remarkable debut for the Trojan breakthrough.

I don’t think we’re out of gas, Evan Fields said. We just need to deal better with mental stress. It all comes down to it. Our attention, we mustn’t let them get tired.

Under the new coordinator Todd Orlando, VSK’s defense got off to a good start, but the Sun Devils showed one trick in the big game: an extraordinary white slope to get a normal pass on the screen in the second quarter.

On the half of the race RSC pulled with 17:14 despite their victory over the Sun Devils. The Trojans lost the ball on Vavaje Malepeyai’s goal line and were then stopped in midfield. Shortly before the break, the Slovenes then intercepted the Trojans on the field.

Trajanum’s second touchdown, from 17 meters out, helped the Sun Devils to climb 24-14 halfway through the third quarter.

Shortly after, the Arizona defense had its main moment when it stopped two races in progress without winning 6 Trojans for the Sun Devils and started a downward curve.

The 23rd. Arizona then hit the steppe for a fourth attempt from 6:04 to the end of the game, but the Trojan attack finally found a break as McCoy made the first touchdown of his career when the struggling pass sent him straight back to the end zone.

The state of Arizona: The first 57 minutes will not do much to ease the pain of the last three. Edwards’ renewed training staff finally seemed to bear fruit and the Sun Devils controlled the battle line until late in the day.

USC: Helton will breathe a sigh of relief after his players finally got together at the last minute, but the fact that both USK lines were in trouble will be a problem. The sale and Troy’s mistakes were obvious, but they would only muffle the party a little.

The Trojans won, but did little to give confidence in their ability to fight for the Pac-12 title. They will probably stay in the standings, but they will need more convincing victories.

Tonight I’m going to take a step back and say that we’ve just won a good soccer team and that we have a chance to really grow as a soccer team, says Helton. I think it could be a very, very good football team. That’s right.

The state of Arizona: Home game against California next Saturday, unless the Golden Bears have a coronavirus problem.

USC: Next Saturday in Arizona.
