Top 300 player rankings for the 2020-21 fantasy hockey season

So a lot has changed since we last saw you in March. The Stanley Cup was decided in Edmonton between two southern teams. The words bubble, qualifying round and octopus have been added to our dictionary. We have also made some changes to our standard evaluation system. We have made improvements to increase the costs of defenders and goalkeepers, while increasing the overall scoring percentage.

Figure skaters:

Objectives (G) 2

Help (A) 1

Electricity points (PPP) .5

Short Treatment Point (SHP) .5

Target Shooting (SOG) .1

Result (HIT) .1

Safe Fire (BLK) .5

Goalkeeper:

Profit (W) 4

Objectives versus (GA) -2

Conservation (SV) .2

Doors closed (SO) 3

Lost overtime (OTL) 1

This new system gives backup points (5 saves 1 point) and also adds a point for lost overtime. The goalkeeper, who has to fend off many bending shots, deserves praise for keeping his team in the game.

Also, many of you have already used hits and blocks in your own leagues, so we ignored them and added them to the standard system. The blocks are worth more than the blows, because the blows occur more often. Because defenders tend to get blocked, the best defenders will be as valuable to your team as they are to yours. We also add bonuses for points scored by special teams, increasing the number of points scored in your leagues.
